Simulator lessons Lelystad

for 1-2 persons

This involves flying in a real helicopter flight simulator. Beforehand, you will receive a 20-minute briefing on what is going to take place that simulator lesson to prepare you as well as possible. Together, you discuss the lesson. This includes the basics of why a helicopter flies and how to fly it. The pilots and instructors all speak Dutch and English.

Flying yourself in a helicopter simulator

You will fly yourself in the simulator with the instructor behind you. After you've done overhead manoeuvres such as turns, climbing, descending, descending turns and climbing turns, it's time to hover the helicopter. Hovering is the most difficult and also the most fun part of helicopter flying. This is the hovering/ hovering just above the ground. A unique interplay between man and machine, eye-hand coordination and making very small steering corrections. A unique experience!

In both simulator lessons, you get 20 minutes of theory beforehand . This is followed by the practical part in the simulator. Everything can be simulated in the helicopter simulator: bad weather, rain, wind, snow, day or night, offshore, hospital landings and so on.

Choice aid

The 40-minute experience is the most beneficial. For a first introduction to flying, this is basic. But for a small extra cost with the 60-minute experience package, you'll spend twice as much time flying in the simulator.
