2010
This is the year I decided to go for my helicopter licence. As a commercial, to make it a full time job. Before that, I had more than 10 years in the engineering world on it, as a supervisory mechanic in low-voltage installations, audio & telecom.

2012
This is where I started RondvluchtHelikopter.nl, to provide people with information and the ability to book flights online. 🎉

2014
My first full-time job in Thailand, flying wonderfully over Bangkok and its surroundings.

2016
The next challenge was in Germany, here I flew the EC135 helicopter in the wind farm industry offshore.

2017
This year, 123Helikopterflights.co.uk saw the light of day as RondvluchtHelikopter.co.uk ran into limitations. The offer grew, and sales grew with it. 🎉

2019
Halfway through this year, I started flying from England on the AW139, to the oil rigs. Later that same year, I started flying from West Africa, also to the oil rigs. Meanwhile, wherever I sit, with an internet connection and a laptop, I run 123Helikoptervluchten.nl 🙂 ...

2021
Expansion: a web developer and online marketer have joined 123Helikoptervluchten. Beautiful and challenging creations are coming, in early 2022 we hope to launch a new website for 123Helikoptervluchten. After that, we hope to launch other online businesses, stay tuned!

2022
Still working in West Africa. 4 weeks there and then 4 weeks off in the Netherlands, at home with my family.

Goals future

Spending more time with my wife and children, after 3 boys, there is now a daughter on the way! 🥳
fly to the moon, preferably with overnight stay 🚀
lose weight (weight) and a six-pack (Heineken) 💪
Starting other online platforms as an entrepreneur, and my goal as a pilot I'm still keeping secret 😉

2023
September: We are heading for sales growth of >60% compared to last year. Partly because the revamped website has been standing like a house for almost 2 years now. We are very happy with that. But we are not there yet. I can still see opportunities and areas for improvement everywhere, and step by step these are all being implemented. Everything for a better experience!

2024
October: turnover compared to the whole of last year already over, so nice growth continues. This month we also introduced our new logo. The old logo was mainly focused on the private market. But in recent years, more and more business assignments have been added, so we now have a logo that appeals to both the private and business markets. Hope you like the logo 🙂
