With a helicopter flight over Friesland, you experience the province in a whole new way. That can be fun if you have lived in Friesland all your life, or even if you haven't lived there very long. But even if you are just visiting Friesland on holiday, the province is a great destination for a helicopter flight. On a helicopter flight over Friesland, you can see all the beauty the Netherlands has to offer in one trip: the coast, the Wadden Islands and the countryside.

Some of the Wadden Islands belong to Friesland. During a helicopter flight over Friesland, you can therefore enjoy views of these Wadden Islands. You see Terschelling, Ameland, Schiermonnikoog and Vlieland all from above – a unique perspective on the islands. You can see exactly how they differ in size, and you can see the roads on them. But Friesland has more to offer than island-spotting. Of course, the islands are a special part of a helicopter flight over Friesland, but fortunately there is more to see.
There are all kinds of lakes in Friesland that you can see in a different way on a helicopter flight. And don't forget that Friesland lies on the IJsselmeer. There are smaller lakes further inland, but a large part of Friesland is on the coast. That is what makes a helicopter flight over Friesland so special: there is plenty to see on land, but you also fly partly over and along the water. Many of the inland lakes also lie in beautiful nature areas.
The icing on the cake, of course, is Leeuwarden, which you see from above on a helicopter flight. You can experience a city by living in it or visiting it, but seeing it from above is something quite different: you get a completely different picture of a city when you see it from the helicopter. Plenty of reasons, then, for a helicopter flight over Friesland.
